A dialogue between sound, image, and emotion
Walkin’ Through Life is the new release by Giulia Dimà, a young and deeply sentimental singer-songwriter now revealing a more intimate side of her artistry.
This collection unfolds as a small musical box: four pieces for solo piano, shaped by an essential and minimalist language. Each note feels necessary, each silence speaks.
For Giulia, these compositions are not merely instrumental works, but reflections—echoes of the inner world she has already shared through her poetry collection Emozioni a colori. The four pieces are spiritually intertwined with those verses, as if the piano were continuing what words could only begin.
Recorded live in the studio, Walkin’ Through Life captures fleeting moments of genuine inspiration. There is a sense of “rubato” not only in tempo, but in spirit: a gentle stealing of time, suspended between thought and feeling. This intimacy is fully tangible in the accompanying videos, where the creative act unfolds naturally, without artifice.
Each piece and its visual counterpart are also linked to an artwork by painter Cristina Rossato, creating a dialogue between sound, image, and emotion.
In its simplicity, Walkin’ Through Life becomes an open invitation to encounter a more intimate and unguarded side of Giulia Dimà, where her artistic spirit unfolds gently, note by note, in its most authentic and essential form.

Walkin’ Through Life was born in quiet moments,
when I found myself at the piano
without really searching for anything, just listening.
This work is a small, sincere part of me,
something I feel ready to share,
in the hope that it might resonate, softly,
with whoever chooses to step into it.
